When should I start planning to sell my business?
The honest answer is: it's never too early. Owners who plan ahead — ideally one to five years before their desired exit — consistently achieve stronger valuations, more buyer interest, and smoother processes. But if you're closer to that window than you'd like to be, don't let that stop you from reaching out. We've successfully worked with owners at every stage, including those with urgent timelines. The best time to start the conversation is whenever you're ready to have it.
What size businesses do you typically work with?
We work with lower-middle market businesses generating between $5M and $100M in annual revenue. If you're not sure whether your business falls within that range or whether we'd be a good fit, the easiest thing to do is get on a call — we'll tell you honestly within the first few minutes.
Do you work with buyers?
No. We are exclusively sell-side advisors. This keeps our incentives fully aligned with you — the seller — and eliminates any possibility of a conflict of interest.
Will my employees or customers find out my business is for sale?
Confidentiality is a core part of everything we do. We execute non-disclosure agreements with all potential buyers and handle every outreach and communication with strict discretion to protect your team, your customers, and your operations.
I'm not ready to sell yet. Should we still talk?
Absolutely — and we'd encourage it. The earlier we connect, the more we can do to strengthen your position before going to market. Many of our most successful clients first engaged us 2 to 3 years before their sale date.
What industries do you work in?
We work with business owners across all industries. Our deepest expertise is concentrated in these sectors where we've built the strongest buyer relationships and closed the most transactions — Home Services, Healthcare, Industrial & Infrastructure, Environmental Services and Transportation & Infrastructure. However, if your business falls outside those areas, don't let that stop you from reaching out. The conversation is always free.
